Loewe

Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe (pronounced LOH-eh-vay) was founded by a group of artisans in 1846 in Madrid who set up a fur studio in the city center. Named after Enrique Loewe Roessberg, who became their principal business partner in 1872, the brand soon expanded beyond furs to other quality leathers including lambskin, crocodile, iguana and snakeskin. By 1905, Loewe had been named the Official Supplier to the Royal House with an unmatched reputation for luxurious handbags, shoes, home and lifestyle goods. Under Creative Director JW Anderson, Loewe continues the rich legacy of the brand with his unique vision of classic and modern luxury.
